On tonight's episode of Real Health Revolution, I mentioned rebounding.  Rebounding can be an easy and enjoyable way to get some exercise.  It's gentle and can be started very gradually, and done at your own pace.

Some benefits of rebounding: 

Helps increase breathing capacity, oxygen circulation, combats depression, normalizes blood pressure, prevents heart disease, increases lymphatic circulation, lowers elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels, increases coordination, improves muscle fiber tone, can relieve neck pain, back pain and headaches, enhances digestion and elimination, improves mental performance, aids in sleeping, and can slow aging.

As always, please consult your licensed health care provider before making any changes to your exercise routine.  Also, please be VERY sure to follow the directions on your rebounder.  You must have two adults to open or close it (leave it open if there isn't always another adult around, and just fold the legs only).  This isn't meant for children.  It's not a toy, so if you allow your children on it, you do so at your own (and their) risk!
